why am i an AGNOSTIC?

it has been a long journey of attempts of defining god and here at this stage i say that enough is enough.....
god is just a word used for making comfort out of ignorance ..
ignorance is no bliss , especially when in comes to knowledge of our past,present and future.
it all started with the religious definition of personal god( theistic) which i never took seriously,and i say that any one with minimum common sense would reject it at first stroke and then comes my first belief...
DEISM-where one believe god is some complex intelligence who has created universe( obviously not as stupid as mentioned in genesis of BIBLE) assigning some laws and constants and leaving it with no further intervening( in fact these were my first ever serious thoughts of god which lasted for quite some time), which i rejected few years back as no complex intelligence can come directly into existence with out a slow process of evolution from simple intelligence, in fact this definition is more confusing as there would be no matter(or even anti matter) present for some form of intelligence to depend for sake of memory( here i am quite tending towards natural intelligence preferring over supernatural which may sound more poetic leaving no rational explanation as done regularly by religion) but as i said i left giving such explanations based on imagination just when i came to know about my everlasting admiration CHARLES DARWIN
who has changed my way of looking at things
by Darwin i mean proposing ideas only after thorough examination of astronomical amount of evidence.
by this time i have been transformed completely into a rational thinker hence i may not accept the term GOD( until and unless there would be proper definition and enough explanation and evidence which i believe would never happen ) and neither would i say that there is no god as i can't prove( just being rational)
and by now i finally confess that the term "god" would be treated similar to the "celestial teapot" of BERTRAND RUSSELL
bottom line is that by belief i (same as Bertrand Russell) may be atheist but by philosophy i am an "AGNOSTIC"
